Application Deadline
The application deadline for the class beginning in January 2028 is April 1, 2027.

  • CASPA applicants: Your application must be verified by CASPA by April 1, 2027. Submitting by that date is not enough. Because verification can take several weeks after CASPA receives all your materials (including transcripts), we strongly encourage you to submit well in advance.
  • Direct portal applicants: Your completed application and all required materials must be submitted through the portal by April 1, 2027.

Application Materials
Regardless of how you apply, a complete application includes:

  • Completed application (through CASPA or the direct portal)
  • Three letters of reference, with at least one from a Physician Associate/Physician Assistant (PA), Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Personal statement
  • Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (official transcripts will be required to verify eligibility before matriculation)
  • Application fee

If you apply through CASPA: All materials must be submitted through CASPA, and transcripts must be sent to CASPA according to CASPA’s instructions.

If you apply through the direct portal: All materials must be submitted through the portal. Official or unofficial transcripts are accepted at the time of application.

Supporting materials should not be sent separately to TCU Physician Associate Studies unless specifically requested. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all required materials are submitted, and verified where applicable, by the application deadline.
